Reese knew she was suppose to know about Torin's birthday, but...oh, no! She forgot her best friend's birthday. This was not good. She didn't say anything for a few minutes as she thought about when Torin's birthday was. It was in May, right? Of course it was. He wouldn't be asking her if it wasn't in May. Ohh, when was his birthday!

The 13th...no.

The 19th...no.

The 23rd...YES! That was it. May 23rd.

Go, Reese. Go, Reese. You got his birthday! You got his birthday! She did a little mental dance inside her head as she figured out when exactly his birthday was. "No, I don't know what I'm going to get you, yet. But, no worries! I'll figure something out," she told him with a smile. She kept quiet when Torin started talking to another girl she didn't know. Her attention went back to the food table as she waited for Bunbury to start this party/lesson. Actually, she was waiting for Bunbury to say: 'Okay, class! LET'S EAT!'.
