"Well that was beneficial..." he said sarcastically before reaching for the bottom of his shirt and ripping a piece of it off. Wrapping the cloth around his hand he sighed again. What was he going to do...? He didn't heard the door open again or shut as he walked along the room going over what had happened in his mind and how he had probably hurt Liz a lot with that comment. He was going to have to apologize. He glanced down at his hand and saw the blood seeping through the cloth and peeled it back. It was still bleeding freely. Great. And he didn't know any healing spells.... What a perfect day this had been!
As the door slammed shut behind her, Elizabeth jumped, startled, before she looked around as she heard Robert mutter again. As she saw the dent in the wall, her eyes widened again and she second-guessed her choice of following him. But then she saw the state of his hand, and her expression turned to concern for him, letting the feelings from their argument fade away. "Robert," she said quietly, not wanting to startle him even though part of her knew the very fact she was there might startle him. Moving over to where he was, she reached out to cradle his hand. "Why'd you do that?," she asked softly, looking up at him before moving a hand to reach for her wand. At least she had it, and it wasn't still back in her locker. She didn't know what exactly she could do, not being generally extraordinarily skilled at healing spells, but at least she could try. If he'd let her.
