“Why won’t it work?”
Ted was trying to use a Shield Charm against Dora, but she kept breaking through it.
“Remus’ll show you, he’s the charms champion.”
“Really?”
I blushed. “Well I think champion might be an exaggeration.”
“Nonsense. Sirius told me all about the time you were cornered by that huge warlock in Southampton. He reckoned that if you hadn’t been there, he’d have…”
“Died. Yes, I suppose he probably would have.”
There was a very awkward pause.
“Well, it seems that you have a habit of my protecting my family Remus. Thank you.”
Andromeda looked like she was about to cry.
