Nodding as Headmaster Bontecou took the few of them up on their offer to help teach, Elizabeth set her bag down safely back in the corridor, slipping her skirt off again and stowing it in the bag with the rest of her uniform and her shoes, before returning to the stairs. In time to see the headmaster remove his robes, and her eyes widened before she looked for anything other than him to look at. There was no way she'd thought the headmaster would wear a speedo. There was no way she thought anyone would or should. Her brother didn't. Nobody else she knew did. That was just too little fabric for a man to wear. Especially when he was a professor.
As she was looking away, she saw Dani in her pink suit, looking utterly terrified, and went over to her. Any distraction in a storm, right? And they had been asked to help people. "You okay?," she asked quietly when she got closer to the first year. "We wouldn't be allowed to do this if it was too dangerous. And if you want, you can just go sit on the top step for a while, get used to the water while you're still definitely safe."
