"Huh? Oh,yeah I've been fine, thanks," she smiled, glancing into his face. "Just busy with school work. How about you? You said something about wedding information you'd found? Tell me about it!" Moving from Ryder's side,Sarah found a piece of ground that looked reasonably comfortable and sat down, ready to hear all about his discovery.
Ryder went and sat down beside her, ignoring how cold the ground was. He stuck his hand into his pocket and pulled out the ageing newspaper clipping. He'd folded it and unfolded it so many times now that it was begining to become pretty worn out. He handed it to Sarah wordlessly and waited a moment before he said anything. "It's a wedding announcement," he told her. "I was so happy and pleased when I found it, and just glad that her life turned out okay," he said. He paused for a minute, and then pulled the other clipping that he had found out of his pocket and handed it to her. "A birth announcement," he said, "she named her first born after me." he finished, a note of pride in his voice.
