Macadrian added, "I agree that getting the Ministry involved right now might not be the most helpful, considering they're in transition between Ministers right now. Cooper's a lame duck and Taylor's barely gotten her feet wet, with them having just announced the results today. I think it best if we hold off involving the Ministry for as long as we can."
Macadrian contemplated the Headmaster's comment about none of the charms and other attempts working, "Headmaster, perhaps we need to approach this issue from another angle? If our charms aren't working, maybe we need to find the source of the water and how it is getting into the school. There's got to be some source for it - the entire staff could use bubble-head charms and we could inspect every nook and cranny in the lower levels til we figure the cause. If there is a hole or crack somewhere, we should be able to find it, though I'm thinking there would have to be multiple holes or cracks for there to be this much water." Macadrian sighed. How in Merlin's knobby knees did the school get into such a state?
