Dominic had not exactly been paying proper attention to the History of Magic Lesson. Which was a shame because typically the sixth year enjoyed Truebridge's lessons, but alas, he had been daydreaming about blue robes flying at him and him blocking the shots of the fierce Ravenclaw chasers. Shame because he did well on his OWL, but really, it only would have mattered if Professor Truebridge called on him. Something the Professor did not do.

Besides, there were much more pressing matters to deal with; like the fact that his shoes were wet!

The sound of the rushing water was rising higher as Dominic abruptly stood. Blink. The water was rising and yet not a drop escaped through the windows.

This was ODD!

And the Professor was concerned about books and his gallery?! Honestly; Truebridge was a great Professor, a great wizard, but at times, Dominic sometimes questioned the sanity of ALL the Hogwarts Professors. Though regardless of how insane Truebridge might have been at this moment in time, he had requested the assistance of Prefects and Sixth and Seventh years. And had it been another Professor, Dominic might have settled for simply escorting the younger students to safety. But he was NOT going to leave one of his favorite Professors behind. Not with the rapidly rising waters. Especially since he was one of the taller students.

About to go stand by the Professor at the door and help with the Gallery, he frowned as a piece of parchment rushed past him. The parchment was wet (of course), but the sixth year was still sure he could make out the words 'Clifford' and 'Shackleton' on it, with a bunch of cross-outs and numbers. Odd.

But not as odd as the gold and black scarf in the water, as well. Wading his way over to it, the Hufflepuff Prefect it swallowed hard upon seeing the words and objects embroidered on it. 'I love the Dominator'. HEARTS!?!? Really. Hearts!?!

Whoever this scarf belonged to had a death wish. Clearly.
