Lars nodded at the professor (of what, he could not recall) who seemed to be speaking to him. "Well, I suppose it will be a lovely morning then, if it's morning already," he said quietly, more to himself than to the woman.

"Shoes?" Lars blinked, then looked down at Anastasia's feet. Her shoes looked perfectly fine to him. Clearly the flooding hadn't damaged them. Who needed multiple shoes, anyway? "Your shoes look fine. Why should you complain, Anastasia?" he asked in a bemused sort of way.
