We've got to go while the water is still very shallow. I know what you're thinking, and sadly, you're probably right," she said to him. "This entire floor of the castle probably will unfortunately flood. It'll rise quickly, too, so come on, let's go." She placed her hand on the boy's back and urged him forward.

If he didn't make a move then, she'd have to just toss the youngster onto her back and make a run for it. No way was she sticking around to watch the water level grow so high that it was once again nearly over her head. Besides, she'd also agreed to help save Professor Truebridge's books...of all things. If the water level grew any higher, though, the books were, pardon the pun, history.
William was in full panic mode all right. He knew he had to move, his brain screaming at his legs to begin running towards the door and up the stairs but he just couldn't. The thought of the last time was running through his mind, causing him to stand there like a statue. If it wasn't for anna speaking to him he probablhy would have stayed that way forever.

"Wha? Oh right yeah move, i knew that." he said finally snapping out of his panic mode and into his little boy more scared than ever mode. Demanding his feet to move he felt her hand on his back and began moving listlessly. He gulped as the water continued to limb around him, and it was a good thing he had no bag to ruin...again. It was already at his shoulders but he still wasn't moving fast enough, or so he thought. "I'm ...coming!" he shouted at her, his face contorted with exertion. Hurrying now he made it to the door and looked back at Anna. "Now I just need to make it to the second floor." he said, trying out a smile that failed miserably.
