Anna froze when the professor mentioned the fact that the water had stopped. She stared at it suspiciously, noticing the manner in which it avoided the windows...even the open ones. "Right, sir. Common Rooms...tomes. I'll get right on that," she said, continuing to eye the water as she spoke. She'd seen enough of these type floods to know that the water wouldn't stay still for long.

A second later, the water moved again, this time rising to shoulder level. Okay, that did it. William or no William...tomes or no tomes...Anna Greingoth was outta here! "William! Let's go!" Anna called out, having ended up across the room from the boy. Her eyes flickered from the Ravenclaw boy to the professor. Surely he didn't still believe his books could be saved
now? Everyone needed to get to higher ground, including the professor himself. "Professor Truebridge? You...you should come along, too," she said, watching him for a few seconds longer before turning and swimming out the door. As soon as she made it into the corridor, she swam quickly to the stairs and made her way to the second floor.
