Startled over Cedric's sudden appearance, Anna jumped a little before turning to face the boy. "Oh, Cedric, you scared me," she said, laughing a little over how silly she must seem. "I'm doing well, thanks. How about you?" She turned back towards the entrance to the Spirit Room and took a good, long glance inside. No sign of Myrtle just yet. Maybe Selena had been mistaken somehow. With Anna's luck, the ghost was probably over in the Potions Lab by now. So should she leave? Hmm...she'd wait a few more minutes and then decide.

"I'm looking for Myrtle," she explained to Cedric. "Selena says that she saw her down at the lake, and that she headed here. I can't seem to see her inside, though. I'm starting to think that if she was here, she's gone now." Anna shrugged, then leaned against the opened door of the Spirit Room. Locating Myrtle was proving to be a little more difficult than she'd first thought. Well, actually, someone had located her, but of course she'd floated off somewhere else before they could get her into the Potions Lab.
