Sitting in the kitchen at Grimmauld Place, Sirius and I shared a late night drink. The wine warmed me, relaxed me.
“So, Moony, when are you going to open your eyes?”
“To what?”
“To the girl” He surveyed me over the rim of his goblet. “Hmm, maybe you need to open that heart of yours, not your eyes? Just because I’m stuck here with that accursed house elf, it doesn’t mean that you should be too.”
“I’m too…”
“Old? Poor? Dangerous? From what I can see she doesn’t care about that. Look into that good heart of yours Moony. See what we see.”
