Seeing Kiri there, Vanessa hurried over to her friend, knowing that they younger girl would be cheering for Slytherin. "Hey Kiri." She smiled, looking out at the game. "GOO SLYTHERIN!" She yelled. Yey she loved quidditch. Someone prodded her in the side. Kiri stopped in mid-whoop and turned. It was Vanessa! "Hey!" shouted over the cheering crowd. "Here to watch the game?" In a fit of ardour, she unravelled her scarf and threw it over Vanessa's pretty outfit. "Here," she yelled. "That's much better!"
Just then, a loud roar came from the other end of the pitch where the Gryffindors sat. Their Seeker had spotted the Snitch. Kiri focused on the game again instantly. The two figures, one red and gold and one green and silver, streaked away into the sky, but... Kiri and the rest of the Slytherins groaned. "COME ON!" she yelled, cupping her hands in front of her mouth.
