"Just to clarifty...I'm not the surprise, am I?" Jack asked in a worried whisper. "Don't think I don't know the reputation of this ghost, Anna...you're NOT offering me up as her new boyfriend, just to get her to talk to us!" he told her with a grin, keeping his voice hushed just in case. Sure, he was kidding--kind of. He WAS a little worried though.
"MRYTTTTTTTLEEEEEEEEEEEE? We need help and you're the ONLY one in the WHOLEEEEEEE school who can help us!" he cried, trying that approach instead. Maybe if they made her feel really important, she'd show.
