What do you even say when a slightly batty and obviously paranoid (but what former Auror isn't?) old man mistakes you for your great grandmother and then realizes his mistake?

In his defence, he was right. She looked identical to every photograph she'd ever seen of her grandmother. And she'd practically been raised by the woman, so who could be surprised their manner was all that similar?

But he was embarrassed and regretful, and she did NOT know what to do with that. So she sat in awkward silence for a very long time."I suppose... given the circumstances, the long odds that I should turn out so much like my Grandmamma and your missing timeturner and all that... I guess it's an easy mistake to make. It could happen to anyone." Anyone a bit off his rocker... "So I really don't hold anything against you to forgive in the first place."
