Half-Blood Prince grossed over $100 million internationally. Of that, $58.2 million was aquired domestically with $45.9 million taken elsewhere around the world, reaching a total tally of $104 million - the best ever opening for the franchise.

Domestic theater count for "Half-Blood Prince" is 4,275 heading into the weekend. Pic's debut was slightly more staggered overseas. On Wednesday, the film opened on 10,500 screens in 33 markets. It moved into more territories on Thursday, and this weekend, it will be playing on roughly 15,000 screens in 64 markets.
In the UK the film had the third best opening day ever ($7.6 million from 1,305 screens), the second highest in Italy ($4 million from 923) and the third highest in Australia ($4.4 million from 484). In Holland, it had the biggest opening of all time at $1.3 million.
