I'm Cordova," he pronounced accurately. "Cordova Heinke," he finished his full name ,"a fifth year by the way."
He ate his potatoes quickly and drained his goblet of pumpkin juice before speaking again. "Good day Victoria," he poured himself a glass of water and smiled kindly at both Marina and Victoria. "It's a bit dodgy don't you think, those chutes and ladders? I didn't know how to get down here a while ago so I grabbed my broom and flew. I overheard some Gryffindors talking about the new approved exit and that's how I figured people were getting to the grounds," he shook his head in disapproval. "I just think they could have came up with something possibly safer and less straining."
Cordova had been down a while before the two other Ravenclaw had appeared, so for the most part his meal was already finished.
Marina was taken by surprise to be spoken to by the fifth-year and had to swallow a mouthful of potatoe and sauce before she could answer:
"Hi!... The ladders! Yes, I know! I'm not a fan of hights and I was so afraid I might fall down when I climbed down to get here."
