Helena looked over at Mel in surprise at Nick's words, but there was a pleasant smile on her face still. I didn't know you cooked, Melinda - although, I must agree everything is great. Mental deep breath. Okay, everything was alright. Her eyes were still gray with nervousness, but she paid them no attention. She did, however, notice Mel reach towards Chris's hand under the table and her fork shook slightly as she lowered it from her mouth, but her facial expression remained unchanged.
