The kneazle kitten looked up at Tonks with enormous eyes before returning to the task of industriously licking its paw. Yum, paw. The girl sighed and pressed herself against the Menagerie window, drinking in every darling move the kitten made.

“Isn’t she the sweetest thing?” Tonks rapped her knuckles on the glass.

Charlie sighed, turning back to study the itty fluff ball. “Just go buy it. Honestly.”

“I caaaaaan’t,” Tonks whined, flipping her back to the window so she couldn’t see those little eyes. “Mum says I’d be hard on a pet. Can you imagine what damage I could do?”
