I put down my Ancient Runes book.
“Will I?”
“Yeah you agreed.”
“Did I?”
“You said you’d help”
“Are you sure that we actually had this conversation?”
James grinned at me. “You said that you’d be the decoy.”
“When? When exactly did I say that I’d be the decoy?”
Sirius looked shifty. “Last night.”
“Are you sure? I really don’t think this is a good idea. We’ve only just finished our last lot of detentions… Hang on. Did you tell me about this when I was asleep?”
“Well, it was the quickest way to get you to agree.”
