Looking around again, Jake remembered the other thing he'd come about. "You still have that puppy?" he asked, wondering of course if it still was a puppy these days.

"We should make a deal." Ethan ventured, taking a loaf of bread out of his desk and tearing each of the corners off of it.

"Of course... Abby took him to see Professor Morgan... I... can only assume that he's still there." Hmmm. Probably he should look into that. "He isn't really a puppy anymore, but chihuahuas aren't exactly big so... yeah. Puppyish." Hmm.
