Though he didn't know what had happened, in his sleep Jake felt a change which made him alot more comfortable as he lay there. As he burrowed into the blankets, the tip of Jake's thumb found its way to his mouth and he found himself in the rather childish act of sucking his thumb.

Or he would have... had he been awake.

But this was something he only reverted to when he was deeply sleeping.
