Having made the decision to head to the Prefect's Bathroom for a little while to relax a bit, Dominic made his way down there from the Ravenclaw Common Room. One advantage to being on the seventh floor was being closer to this bathroom. However he couldn't deny that even though rooming with extra people was certainly interesting . . . he missed the Hufflepuff Common Room. Something that was probably to be expected.
Unlike what the sixth year just came across as he was almost to the portrait leading into the bathroom. It looked freshly installed and . . . slippery . . . Leaning his head in a bit, Dominic knelt on the hole in the wall trying to get a better look at this addition he was sure was not there the other day. Or even yesterday for that matter.
But something else that was unexpected, yet to be expected at the same time was the moment Dominic leaned in just far enough for both feet to be off the ground. For him to be kneeling inside the hole, as he then very quickly and suddenly lost his balance . . . Sliding forward, on his washboard stomach, Dominic was felt a mixture of exhilaration and dizziness as he zoomed faster and faster down to a destination he did not know.
