"I've never you eat chocolate around me or anything." She didn't not understand that autograph at all.
Reese eyed Daphne as she smiled at her, then turned right back to Jack. She was defiantly giving Fritzera a lot of attention. Actually, she was giving him way more attention than he deserved. Okay, that was mean. Jack deserved attention, but not from a girl that pursed her lips her lips at her. She moved herself a little closer to Jack and flashed the girl a smile, before she turned back to Jack. Jack shrugged. "Yeah, I don't like sugar much, to be honest. Chocolate frogs every once in a while are good and all but...it just doesn't suit me very well," he explained. "I think that guy thought I was on some kind of sugar rush during the match," he added with a laugh. "Hence the reason I was scoring off of him," he said sarcastically. Ok Fritzera. Time to slow down...don't go and get a big head now! Quote:

Oh. That's sad, she thought glancing over her shoulder to make sure Celandine hadn't gone too far from her and wasn't doing anything she'd regret seeing later. Celandine wouldn't, obviously. The girl rarely did anything she regretted but Daphne found a lot of her activities to be--mind boggling..
"I don't really know anything about Astronomy," added the blond. That was the end of that topic. "It's just that for Divination--you see," she hesitated and bit her lip.
EUGH! "Professor Kapoor forced a duck on me!"
She really didn't want that stupid duckling. "And I'm supposed to teach it to pull a card out of a tarot deck!" Who did that anyways?
They were talking, Reese Upstead and Jack and Daphne had to pretend she was being polite and listening. So she focused on a blurry object over Reese' shoulder and smiled.
Politely. Sort of.
Except, she caught the girl looking at her and she stopped smiling long enough to blink. "Is there something wrong?" Say, perhaps, do you like my hair that much? Jack saw Daphne glance over her shoulder at Cela, who had wandered away from them in search of autographs. She was in a completely different world now. He shrugged when Daphne said she didn't know much about astronomy--not a lot of people did. "Yeah, some of it can be kind of boring, like all that physics mumbo-jumbo," he said in agreement. He had to admit, that part of the subject was ridiculously BORING. And it made his brain hurt.
"Wait, WHAT?" Jack asked again, quite certain he hadn't heard correctly. A DUCK? Had Kapoor gone loopy? That was by far one of the weirdest assignments he had ever heard of. "But--why would anyone want to teach a DUCK, of all animals, to do that?" he asked in shock.
THIS was precisely why he despised the subject. It was all a bunch of nonsense.
"I think the duck will be more interested in eating the cards, to be honest," he said to her with a little sigh. "And erm...what purpose is training a duck supposed to serve, exactly?" he asked.
As he waited for her to reply, he started to notice that there were some strange, non-verbal exchanges going on between Reese and Daphne. Did these two have some sort of past rivalry that he was unaware of? No, they had only just met, he had seen them introduce themselves...maybe they were just being weird. After all, girls WERE awfully loony sometimes.
