"And heyyy what an awesome prize!" Celandine gestured at herself, Daphne and Reese. "Getting to hang out with three gorgeous blondes! You should practice your swoon-making wink so that when you are all famous, you can do what they do and make all our hearts go a-flutter!" Cela apparently thought the idea to be hilarious. She offered a friendly grin at Jack and peeked over at Drake Warren again.
Jack blushed. "Erm, thanks...they don't call me Captain for nothing, right?" he asked with a small smile. Pssh, Captain. He was still convinced it was a fluke in the system. He nodded when she brought up Tobi--what a player that guy was. "Yeah, his loss really hurt us...same with Alexis. We're still trying to recover," he said with a small grin. Cela would know nothing of losing Quidditch teams...helloooooooo, Ravenclaw!

Jack blushed yet again as he found himself once more in one of those situations where he was the only male, surronded by pretty females. How did this keep happening? And how long would his luck keep on lasting? "Uh, don't you think it's a bit early for that?" he asked with a small chuckle. He was certainly NOT practicing a wink on anyone anytime soon. No siiiiiiiir. He didn't plan on going pro anyways. He wanted to go to the moon, not the Quidditch World Cup.

Although, he had to admit, now that the idea had been brought up...it was slightly intriguing. Hmmmmm.

Very nice.

Daphne smiled sheepishly at Jake as Celandine prattled on. Oh, wow, she knew her friend could go off at the mouth every once in a while but it seemed today was one of those days. EEEEP! Why was she saying such things? "Uh...heh," laughed Daphne nervously, her cheeks turning a bright fuchsia. "Aren't we getting ahead of ourselves? He'd have to survive Hogwarts first before considering pro. I mean, bludgers can ends one...life."

Ahem. Daphne found her thumb completely PRECIOUS all of a sudden.
"Nice to meet you Daphne," Jack said with a smile and a head nod. Ahh yes, now he remembered hearing her name in classes and whatnot. Jack was going to have to get better at that name memorization thing. Cause right now he wasn't very good at it.

"Yeah, good point...especially if I'm seeker..." he muttered, trailing off when he realized the truth in his words. It had never occurred to him that, being seeker, most of the bludgers would probably be headed towards HIM. Gulp. Could they really kill someone? No, no, he doubted it--he'd seen a ton of nasty hits in his day and no one ever died. Hardly anyone died these days.

"Ooh well erm...no one really dies now, not like they used to, at least," he assuerd Daphne, whose face had turned tomato red all of a sudden. Was she worried about the bludgers too?
