Melanie blinked a few times trying to take in the reality of the fact she was talking to the Emma Greene, taking a deep breath to calm herself so she didn't make a fool of herself.

Ohhhh no!! Waaaaait!! She called her by the name her mom called her when she was in trouble?!

This. Was. Not. Good.

"Ohhh!! I'm so sorry!! Do you want me to call you Ms. Greene from now on or- or I could call you just Emma if that's okay with you...Or does that sound too unprofessional? How about-"

Wait...Just wait a sec here...Was she laughing? Oh...She was. She'd been joking then...?

Noooooooooo!...That made things even more embarrassing after that ramble. Melanie felt her cheeks heat up, turning a light pink color and glanced down at her feet. Well, on the bright side she was having no problem speaking now.

"I'm sorry."
Melanie repeated, biting her lip slightly. "It's just...I'm really, really excited to meet you." she said, this time her words coming out quietly, glancing up at Emma again. She seemed really nice... Not at all arrogant like some of the others seemed to be. As Emma asked her name she gave her an excited grin, unable to help herself. "Melanie, Melanie Lockhart." she replied brightly, rocking nervously back and forth on her feet. Now, thankfully, that reply was something she couldn't mess up. Too much practice. "Can I pretty please have your autograph?" she asked her hopefully, trying to get to the point so she couldn't embarrass herself any further. Or pass out from excitement. Or forget the autograph altogether.

Pffffffttttt, there were just too many possibilities of bad things that could happen.
