82. Careful
“Here, try one of these”
Catherine chewed the Bertie Bott’s bean and looked at me in shock “But that’s Christmas cake!”
I laughed as she tried them out, getting lasagne, salmon and rather unfortunately, vinegar.
“I’ve never had these before. Are they new?”
“Not exactly…”
I started to explain about the wizarding world. I was being far from careful, rather rash in fact. What was it about this woman that meant I wanted to divulge my deepest darkest secrets to her? I looked into her eyes and realised that she wasn’t frightened, but excited.
“Can I go to Diagon Alley?”
