Ooo, another human girl (Head Girl). Cackling to itself, the grindylow passed next to the girl, leaping out of the water and grabbing her, claw like fingers digging into her robes. Its strength was remarkable.
Anna turned to say something to the Ravenclaw girl who'd answered her question, but just as she did she felt a sudden sharp pull on her robes. Eyes wide with surprise, Anna lost her balance and stumbled underwater a little. She wanted to cry...Merlin did she want to cry. She was underwater, though, and she was calm enough to realize that she better act fast or...or...
or else. In all her years at Hogwarts, this one moment right here was the worst. She'd seen her friends change into animals, been pulled out of Hogwarts, gone on a mysterious treasure hunt, and seen her professors regress into children. For her, though, this had to be the single scariest moment she'd encountered.
In the back of her mind, she was aware that her friends were trying to help her, and she also knew that she had to get her head above water so that she could accurately cast a spell. She pushed and shoved her way up...and she may have even hit the grindylow on top of its head a time or two. Thankfully she hadn't came in contact with its horns yet. A few seconds later, she'd pushed her way above the water, drawn her wand, and casted the
Revulsion Jinx. Hopefully that would get the frazzling creature away from her!
