Jack hurried into the potions lab, slowing down quite a bit before he walked into the room. He had to remember that there were a lot of fragile vials and whatnot in this room with Merlin-knows-what inside, and even though he was late, he slowed to a casual stroll as he entered the room.
"Good day Professor," he said with a smile to Kazimeriz as he entered the room, immediately spotting Anna with a LARGE group of people nearby. "Hey Anna! Sorry I'm late," he told her, setting down his bag as he joined the group. "I've had a hectic morning...would you believe the Giant SQUID is in the Entrance Hall?" he asked in a small whisper so that only Anna could hear him.
He then straightened up and looked at the other people in the group. "Erm--hi. I'm Jack! What did I miss?" he asked, looking at the water they were all gathered around. They seemed to be waiting for something.
