Turning quickly on the spot, Jack turned to face whoever had just startled him and found himself face to face with a Hufflepuff he vaguely recognized from classes. Interesting. He blinked in shock once more before he finally found his voice again. "Erm, yes...Jack Fritzera. And umm...you?" he asked. That seemed a bit more polite than Who the heck are you and why do you know my name?!? He ignored the boy's look of confusion, he smiled. "Torin Kane. Reese's best friend."
Now he had to think of the best way to go into this. If Jack found out that Reese likes him, she was bound to throw him off of the tower. And that would really suck.
