James was waiting until he found Lily alone. Finally Sirius spotted her by herself.
Quickly he walked over to her before he lost his nerve and pulled her to her feet. She opened her mouth to say something, when James planted his lips onto hers. What surprised James the most was how she kissed him back.
Slowly James pulled back and gave Lily a timid smile.
“I knew you would never back down on a dare. Well done mate.” Sirius patted James on the back.
“Sirius!” Remus said alarmed, as Lily ran away from the four, tears in her eyes.
