Kel's eyes widened when she called him by his real name. She'd never, never done that, not even when they first met. He instantly regretted telling her that he didn't forgive her yet - although it had been the truth. He groaned. Why had he let his stupid temper and jealousy get the better of him? It wasn't like Jenn had no right to kiss whoever she wanted...he should've just walked away and let her have her little moment with the gryffindor.

But, of course, that hadn't happened, and it was too late to think logically. Now Jenn looked like she was going to faint, Jesse was hurt - Kel didn't know what was wrong with him, exactly, but he was hurt - and Kel felt like more than just his nose and knuckles were broken. That had been the problem - when he saw Jenn leaning in to kiss the gryffie, something in his chest seemed to ache.

He lifted his head off the wall just in time to see Jenn pat Jesse's leg, and to hear her whisper his name. Resisting the overwhelming urge to get up and walk across the room, he layed his head against the wall again, his good hand clenching into a fist as the throbbing started on the bridge of his nose again.

How had everything good in his life changed so fast? Now Jenn was sad, he didn't know if he still had a girlfriend, and he'd completely let his family down - it was just then that he realized how horrible he felt about that little detail - by getting in a muggle fight with someone else. This. Totally. Sucked.
