As Satine rounded the corner, she came to a crossroads where the maze forked left and right...she thought as hard as she could about which way to go...she finally decided that right came before left from her navigation at the top of the steep area a while back...she quickly took the left but soon found herself at a thick dead end one that she knew she couldn't detangle herself through this time...turning around a little mad at herself she ran back to the crossroads and took the right fork this time...down the way she thought she could smell the lake and hear the birds so she knew she was going in the right direction...at the next intersection she took the final left and found herself on the edge of the lake.

Wow it looked a lot further than she had imagined. She could see the Professors sitting on the other side sitting in pink chairs and drinking maybe some kind of pink fruity drink. Lucky she thought. Satine looked at her stash of gillyweed and thought about how much she had eaten a few days ago in the flooded office and decided not to eat all of it...I mean she didn't want to look like Swamp Thing for forever and a day. She tied her shoes around her strap on her tank top and took a big bite of gillyweed. When she finally had gills and webbed toes and hands, she jumped into the lake with the pink Professor in her sights.
