She straightened up as Piper spoke about how she meant the things she wrote in the letter. Karma certainly hoped for Piper's sake that she did, and that this was the perfect princess Veela's her time to talk.

Once she opened her mouth, Piper began to fall. Without thinking, Karma moved forward, and conjured a huge, thick and fluffy pillow behind Piper to land on, along with sending a Cushioning Charm to her heels. Precious poised herself along Karma's shoulder, and helped balance Karma from falling herself.

"You should test fly these out before you wear them," Karma said, crouching down next to Piper as Precious jumped off of her shoulder and onto Piper to check for any booboo's. None spotted, but she licked her nose just for the sake of it, and walked back to her owner.
