Satine continued down the long hallway but then realized that her new purple heels were sinking into the ground...she could always walk on grass but anytime the ground got the slightest bit wet, she was doomed...o great what a day to wear new heels she thought with an unhappy face...she reached down and pulled them off...she would much rather walk with out her shoes through who knows what then ruin them...she tied the tie ups together and put them over her left shoulder....

She suddenly glanced over her shoulder...had she seen something move...no...her mind must be playing tricks on her...she turned around in a circle to make sure there wasn't anything there...but suddenly she felt a tap on her right shoulder...when she turned she saw a long vine coming out from the wall behind her taunting her...she stepped backwards and ran into another vine from the same wall...no matter what way she stepped they both followed her almost as if they were dancing...she felt her heart start beating widely and then had an idea...

She quickly did a two step...two forward and one back...and then ducked down...the two vines both reached forward to catch her and ended up tangled in the air...she crawled forward and then noticed a small plant with a pinkish flower poking out...recognizing it from one of the pictures, she grabbed the gillyweed and jumped up heading further into the maze...

As she thought about her shoes and looked down at her dirt covered outfit, she realized this was not as fun as she thought it would be.
