Kel was quiet for a minute after she started talking again. He didn't doubt that she felt bad...but he couldn't believe that she felt horrible. There wasn't a way that she could feel horrible - she'd just kissed someone she obviously liked a lot...enough to completely forget about Kel while she kissed the other boy.

Thinking about it, Kel imagined he could actually feel his blood boiling. He shook his head slowly - best tell the truth. "No, Jenn, I can't." he said quietly. "Not right now, at least." he was aware of the others in the hospital wing, and he didn't want to be eavesdropped on, but he couldn't stop himself from talking. "And I don't know when I'll be able to." he looked down at the robe on the floor, and gave it an angry kick.
