After crawling through the mess of plants for a little bit, the Gryffindor Prefect found what he had been searching for. Just at the bottom of a rather tangled plant, a small bunch of the water-breathing ability plant was there. Gillyweed. He reached his gloved hand intot the tangle and worked and worked until, finally it came free from the roots of the larger plant. He had a good enough piece it looked like to get across the pond.
