You said yourself that the centaurs were very proud, but they are also clever. Very clever, so I think they won`t listen to us more if we bring a present. They will think we want to bribe them or something. They would not trust us. They are not stupid, they will not listen to us more or like us better if we give them something." He paused for a few moments and straightened up in his chair. "Maybe these dark wizards who broke into the forest have tried giving them something, too, so that they could do their illegal work there without the centaurs attacking them?
