And one of them was Sienna, her coworker!
"Hey, Sienna." she greeted the woman, then looked at the others. "Addie Carlisle, Daily Prophet. Can I ask you all a few questions?" She looked at them-then at the goblin. "Hello," she greeted him. "You are Mr. Gremlok?" Thank Apollo someone else decided to step inside, or at least turn Tetrus attention somewhat away from her. Surely the guy was a bit intimidating, but nothing Sienna couldn't deal with.
However, this turn of events was very, very unexpected. How come she didn't know that Adeline was going to be taking notes on this event? When she was in Sienna's section? Very strange. Indeed.
Nonetheless, Sienna smiled and greeted her, "Hey Addie" she said, and nodded when she introduced to the others, good introduction. Not too long, not too detailed. Perfect. "Why, of course, ask away" because certainly there was no other answer for her question. Quote:

At least they were fixed now, which was a good thing. At least Cooper would see them upon his arrival. “Lets hope they stay that way, sista.” The Department Head winked briskly, and shot a glance at the door.
Still not here.
“Ah yes, Cooper should be good to go. Hakuna Matata.” Tetrus gave her a reassuring nod. Wait. Wasn't it sort-of-her-job to make sure people would come? Wasn't it? Well, if it was, then she entirely forgot about it, or at least forgot to delegate that part...perhaps...perhaps this wasn't her job precisely.
She smiled as she looked at the door, her golden hair shining even more with the lightest movement. "Don't worry, we made sure they'd stay that way" things couldn't go wrong when magic was involved in this kind of scale. But, the whole 'sista' thing could be getting annoying if he continued with it.
And her smile widened. 'Cooper' and 'ready to go' were the words she was currently loving to hear. Quote:

He liked hard stone chairs, harder the better. Goblins did not like soft things. "You've done an excellent job in your job Ma'am." he added smiling a crooked gangly smile. Perhaps if he was nice to the reporters they'd be nice to him, even though he despised talking to them. Finally. "Thank you, it's really an honor to meet you" mainly because she's never met any goblins like this, she usually got to speak with them whenever she needed a trip to her vault, and even in those cases there wasn't much to talk about, was it? "I'm entirely sorry...we should've met a long time ago, but...well, I'm not allowed into the Ministry at the moment...some misunderstanding with a certain Security inspection..." that was bound to happen when you worked in a newspaper, especially the Daily Prophet, "...but that really doesn't matter" she gestured the phrase away with her hand, as if it was really no big deal, when, in fact, it was. "Teal knew about it, though" she nodded, with a small smile, "Did he ever mentioned such an inconvenience?" she didn't even have the time to write the man about that, better to ask that. |
