"Have you ever heard of a spell for water resistent snuggly warm socks? I'm going to either look for one or make one up, because I'm freezing, and everything is better if your feet are just warm. In my opinion. If I find it, I'll share it with you." Raiden grinned as Copernicus Kettleburn blasted the snow and sleet away from them. He was a smart guy, for sure, but... well magic defied logic in the first place, didn't it? So why couldn't water do the same? Maybe it was angry that it didn't get to do magic stuff, so it was starting to now or something? Either way... it was filling places it shouldn't.
"Hmmm... I know that Tergeo will take the water out of stuff, but I don't know if there's a spell to make your socks warm and keep them dry. It would be really useful considering, though." Raiden wiggled his toes inside his damp socks and shoes. Nooooooot pleasant-feeling at all. "You can make up spells?" Somehow that idea had never connected in his mind. Spells had always just existed for everything, so he'd never really... thought about how they'd been developed. "I'd like that spell... considering the fact that I tend to find myself near water and cold a lot more often lately."
When a girl nearby suggested Impervius, Raiden looked at her and nodded. That would keep the water out, yeah, but it wouldn't make their toesies warm. Was there a way to combine that with a... maybe that hot air spell that people used to dry off their robes and stuff? To keep warm air in their shoes or something? |
