Karma smiled as Anna thanked her for her quick usage of the spell to help keep Anna cry. "Anytime, and you're welcome."
She watched her partner eye her work and was happy that the Head Girl liked it. Nodding her head once, she watched her also perform the same spell. Yay, it was working. But now... wait, what was she doing? Oooh, Glisseo. Karma hadn't thought of that one.
"Ooooh, lemme try." Now pointing her wand at the chain, she said the same incantation. Swish and flick. "Glisseo!" Oooh. The chain started to move a little bit, but not all the way. "Dang. Maybe we have to banish them one by one, without banishing a body part." She blinked. What would happen if they DID banish a body part?
So, aiming it down at the chain, she quietly performed the banishing charm. Except, she said it with too much force, and sent it into the wall next to them. "WOAH. Haaa, guess Lawson will have to deal." She glanced over her shoulder to see Lawson handcuffed to Abby. Ohhh how interesting. She tired the charm one more time with less force. The link clanked to the floor and bounced a bit.
"Okay, let's try that."
Anna grew quiet and watched while Karma performed a few charms of her own.
Glisseo worked perfectly, and Karma was even able to slide their hands a few extra centimeters out the chain. "Good work," she said, nodding her head in approval. "Banishing the links would be a good idea. Go ahead, try it and let's see what happens." Once again, Anna grew quiet and still as she waited for Karma to try her luck at the links. As soon as Karma casted, though, a link flew away from the chain and into the wall next to them. Anna giggled at that turn of events, then raised her wand towards the fallen chain.
"Confringo!" she called out. The link suddenly exploded, making a semi-loud sound as it did. "Well, we got rid of that one. Maybe I can get rid of a few more that way, too." She turned her wand towards the chain links and with a swish and a flick said, "Confringo!" Kaboom! Kaboom! Kaboom! Just like that, three of the links exploded, making nearly the same sound the first link had. "Whoa...what a charm," Anna said, lightly laughing. "Okay, I think he's calling time soon, so maybe one more from each of should be good...I hope. Any ideas?"
