“She will be alright,” said a dreamy voice to a more troubled voice of a young chaser.
“yeah, she will be,” said a much more jovial voice of one of the beaters
“yeah, she has just cracked a rib, that’s it,” said a more prominent and sarcastic voice which Ginny recollected as Sara’s
Ginny opened her eyes to see the entire team was standing there along with Luna, Sara and Fiona and Demelza’s boyfriend.
“hey,” she said weakly. She tried to get up but couldn’t as she hurt her rib.
“easy Ginny. You are supposed to be bed ridden,” said Fiona
“what!”
“Ginny calm down,” said Sara soothingly.
“oh dear…this is ridiculous…”she muttered and closed her eyes but then something struck her, the match. She snapped open her eyes. They had won the match but she wanted to know which idiot hit her after she caught the snitch and the whistle was blown.
“who was that moron who hit me after the whistle was blown,” she asked
“our dear head boy,” said Demelza’s boyfriend.
“Yaxely,” she hissed
“and you know what more than keeping him on his toes I guess we kept him on his butt and you know…,” said Jimmy shrugging and others chuckled
“it isn’t supposed to be funny Jim,” said Demelza chuckling herself.
“forget about him Ginny,” said Sara, “you will have to be here for another 3 days,” she added and Ginny looked at her and nodded.
“Madam Pomfrey says that it is only a crack and not a fracture so you will be fit within 3 days,”
Later the team and Fiona left leaving Sara and Luna along with Ginny.
“so do you want Harry to know about this?” asked Luna
“hm…if Harry ever comes in contact in these three days then tell him that I was hit during the match,” said Ginny
“during the match so that he thinks that you were hurt when you were playing and it was not a foul attempt by the Slytherins?” asked Sara and Ginny nodded
“but Ginny you think Harry will not see through that lies?” she continued and Ginny sighed and nodded, “yes he will see through it but he wont do anything till I will tell him what happened. You tell him just to inform that I am in the hospital wing and will be fine” and Sara and Luna just shook their heads.
