Jada exited the room, walking side by side with Tanner. "Well you remember Kyla right? The new girl who asked Patrick to the dance. And when Keith and Shaun said he was going to ask another girl she began crying? Well at dinner she slipped a love potion into the pumpkin juice and gave some to Patrick." Jada explained walking down the stairs. It felt nice being alone with Tanner, something that normally didn't happen because one of their friends were always with them or showed up.
"Well he drank the whole goblet and Shaun ended up drinking it too." Continued Jada. "So they both went head over heals for Kyla. She got up and left the Great Hall and went upstairs, Patrick following her. And fortunately Sam followed them to and caught them kissing. And then Sam and Kyla got in a fight yada yada yada, I went up their, slapped Kyla and that's about it." She said smiling. "Shaun's fine now, but unfortunately Patrick's still under the potion. Keith is trying to get a professor to sign a note so he can get into the restricted area for the antidote."
Kat turned her head, hearing the most familiar voice. She smiled as Keith came running up to her and Trina, holding the ticket to the restriced area in his hand. "That's great!" She said hugging him. She quickly let go and laughed nervously. "Sorry." She mumbled slipping her shoes back on.
"Kyla? You mean the insignificant girl who is nowhere near any of our standards? Yea I remember her, she was annoying. I mean please once you know someone likes someone else you should give up gracefully instead of making a fool outta yourself." Tanner said honestly. In his opinion the girl was nothing, she was nowhere near Jada anyway and he was pretty sure most of his friends had felt the same way. Taking the stairs three at a time Tanner stopped at the landing so that Jada could catch up with him before slowing his steps.
"Wait so your saying that if I had of drank that Pumpkin juice I'd be in love with her too?" Tanner shuddered at the thought. He didn't like the sound of it at all. "Well it's too bad about Partick since he really doesn't like hurting anyone's feelings but I know he was gonna ask another girl to the dance. I think though that I'm glad it's him and not me. But my services are obviously on offer. If you want me to do anything just give the word." He said as they walked into the Entrance Hall.
