Next thing she knew Tino had cuffed himself to both of them. Celandine blinked at the boy and then grinned, well it certainly was a challenge. She lifted her hand, still holding her wand, and since they were all three close together.... she cast the spell around all of them.
Tight circular motion, "Impiriano!" Cela cast the blue aura shield spell around herself, Daphne and Tino and grinned in delight when it proved to protect them from the weather. She shot a slightly triumphant look at Professor Lawson before turning her attention back to her.... er.... 'team'.
Watching Celandine perform the charm to cast the bubble around her and her friends, he had to grin. At least someone was paying attention. Lawson gave her a wink, "Nice work Miss Toussaint." He turned his attention back to Abby.

Abby then carefully put the other cuff on Professor Lawson's wrist and shuts it. The cuff makes a loud click. "...Which brings me to these handcuffs. There must be something wrong with them because Kaika and I have tried every charm we can think of and nothing works. Now I'll admit I'm not an outstanding student in charms, but I did make an Exceeds Expectations last term. I'm also not a fool professor. You were too quick to refuse to be my partner." Abby raises Professor Lawson and her hand. "Surprise, surprise.... I thought you could show us how to get out of these cuffs sir. So I will probably end up in detention. It beats having to report in to Professor Kazimeriz. I don't think he'll be too pleased with my report anyway.

"Yes it is an extremely complex spell. You need..."he trailed off however when Abby went on and on about Harry Potter and his friends. Marcus, kept the smile on his face even though he had tuned out. "Well that;s all very inter-"he felt the cuff on his wrist but before he could do anything else there was a loud click.
"Well now Abby, that would have to be debatable" he drawled as she held up their cuffed hands. "I have charmed those handcuffs so they won't open for at least another few hours at least. So you are now stuck with me and I have a few jobs in the lake that needs to be done. So guess what Abby?" He paused for a moment giving her a smirk. "Looks like you're coming with me. I hope you're a good swimmer."
