He muttered, more to himself than to Corvoda. giving his wand a stern flick and swish he said "Relashio!" pointing the tip of his wand to the chain. The spell shot out before bouncing to the tabeletop. "Oops, okay guess that's not going to work." He said shrugging.
Stretching his shoulder he looked at the chain again frowning this time as he glanced at the rain, which suddenly turned to snow and ice. the wind began blowing, which seemed to penetrate through the charm Cordova had completed. Being so thin William stumbled, nearly tripping over his shoes as he tried to keep standing. He needed better support than what he had right then. "Okay, I can handle a litt...little snow." he stuttered standing tall. "Perhaps you should do the Congrino spell though." He added, knowing the older boy knew how to do it better than he did. "Sorry," he finally spoke softly looking around the room and wondering why Professor Lawson felt the need to change the atmosphere of the room. Cordova and William were already stuck together due to what used to be a metal chain but now transfigured into a massive block of stone. "Sorry for dismal shield, my lack of enthusiam," he rambled and continued to apologize about this entire messy situation. Cordova liked snow. Ever since he was a little boy he would always go play in the snow with his mother, making snow men and throwing snow balls. "Mum,' he said quietly and twitched at the thought of his home and how uncomfortable it would be take another student attached at the arm.
He glanced at William and nodded at the same time adding something that sound like "hmpf". Twisting his wand through his fingers, he contemplated what he should do about "their" little situation. Without realizing how much taller he was than William, he lifted both of their attached arms closer to his face, forcing his partner to stand on his toes. "Alrighty then," he lowered their arms and pulled his chair closer to sit in it. "I'm going to try the Confrngo spell. I doubt it does anything or a lot but it's better than nothing. To be on the safe side," he added glancing up at William. "I'll count again and on three you say "Protego" you know," he paused hoping what he thought wasn't going to really come out. "Just in case something is chucked off of the chain/stone," he struggled with deciding what to call it. "Better me than you, agreed?" |
