Detention Again!


Back in the Auror department, Harry, Draco, Shaun and Draco’s friends were put into detention for breaking rules of auror training. Ron and Gorge were exempted but left with a warning. Harry, Shaun and one of Draco’s friends had to work for their transfiguration teacher the entire afternoon and then had to go to wash the cauldrons and vials in the potions department of their auror training. Draco and his other friend had to take dictations from the heads of their subject department and work for all them. This detention would continue for a week.


After a hard day’s detention Harry and Shaun returned to their apartment stinking of bleach and detergents which they used to clean of the gruel of the cauldrons and vials of all the expired potions. They even had few burns here and there as they had to do away with expired potions, which turned poisonous. As soon as they entered Ron who was sitting in the hall surprisingly doing some store work said, “Merlin’s beard so much for making Malfoy’s life miserable”
It was almost past midnight when they came back.
“you guys are stinking of bleach please go and clean yourself and do that now. I don’t want the bathroom to stink later in the morning when I go for a bath,” he said wrinkling his nose of the strong bleach smell coming from his friends. As Harry and Shaun were leaving for their rooms Ron said, “hey Shaun, why didn’t you tell me that a certain brunette helped you against Malfoy sometime back?” and with that Shaun turned
“who are you talking about? He asked confused of not remembering anyone as such.
“I don’t know. She was there in the store at the Wonder Witch products counter and she thinks that you got on Malfoy because he insulted her because she disarmed him sometime back”, he said , “that’s what she told Hermione,” he continued looking at Shaun’s confused face. The realization struck Shaun, “oh…she was there at the counter today?” he asked Ron and Ron said, “that’s what she told Hermione”
“is she the one who hit Malfoy hard in the mess?” asked Harry and Shaun nodded and said, “I think so” he turned to Ron and said, “why don’t you pass on the message if you meet her that it is not her fault that she is a muggle but Malfoy who has a never changing, big headed, snobbish and pure-bloods-are-the-great attitude” and Ron opened his mouth to speak but Shaun cut him off saying, “never mind, I think she works in Ministry it will be easier if I passed on the message myself,” he said and turned to leave.

“ ‘night Shaun,” called Ron, “please take bath!!! Or else I wont enter your room for next week even if earth falls apart and sky splits” and Shaun just shook his head and waved them. Harry went to take bath first. Ron went to sleep as it was already one. Harry walked out of the bathroom which was at the end of the corridor which led to the rooms. He had a towel wound to his waist firmly and there were few drops of water still on his firm, seeker athlete body. His hair wet from shower. He peeped into Shaun’s room and found him laying on his bed his shirt out of the pant, the first few buttons of shirt open, his hair slightly out of place
“Shaun you can go for your bath,” said Harry and he wished him night and left.

Shaun continued to lay there. He slightly nodded when Harry wished him good night. His eyelids drooped and he soon fell asleep...
