"That they do. Not only is she a seventh year, she's also an engaged seventh year. I'm completely thrilled about the upcoming wedding now, but you can imagine my shock when the Newell boy popped the question," Bella said, picking up a photo of her daughter and future son-in-law and showing it to Madison. "Her fiance graduated last year, though, so I'm sure the two will appreciate their upcoming holiday reunion." Bella placed the photo back on her desk and moved to take a sit. She motion for both Madison and Armen to do the same.
"I'm sure you did a wonderful job helping out when needed. You, too, Armen," she said, nodding towards the man. Both Madison and Armen seemed especially nice and welcoming. She had no doubt both were hard workers. She blinked when Armen began to describe all the department was involved in. She really needed to get into that filing cabinet again and do some reading.
"Ahh, yes. the incident at the conference," she said, nodding and taking some notes. She leaned in close to Madi so that she could properly whisper. "Mads, what in Merlin's name happened in the conference?" she quickly asked. She honestly had no clue. She must have missed that memo while scooping up ice cream at Florean's. She continued to take a few notes about what Armen was saying. Truth be told, though, she was pretty much clueless about said events.
