Ah and here was Mr Upstead, not looking at all happy. Obviously his meeting with Miss Winters did not go well. Sigh. What was he going to do with this kid? "It's fine Mr Upstead, we'll work something out if we need to use wands today."
He pushed off the desk and started to walk around the room. "We'll give it another few minutes for last minute stragglers before we start. For those who lost their books and stuff during the flooding, please be sure to sit next to someone who does have the right equipment."
