*Gabben took a few steps back himself. Sure the professor was old but he wasn't unable to take care of himself. He remembered how his own grandfather acted when he thought others thought he was unable to care for himself.*
Kazimeriz gave the boy a small nod of thanks, appreciative for the bit of space. He felt positively like a specimen in a jar, and he hated the vulnerable feeling.

His eyes were looking at her so fiercely. She felt so out of place. She always tried to keep a low profile, but she felt for the well being of the professor she would speak up. "I'm sorry sir, it's not my place." She stood back and let the other students in closer for a better look.
The girl was bonkers! Talking about lepto-whatsosis. Probably a muggle thing. He glared at her until she backed off.

"Hehe. He's okay, Professor. He has muscles. Very manly." Helios had proven that much.
"Maximus, I do believe young Morgan was hit with a twitching hex at the same time someone stunned me. Look at him. Morgan, I think you need the nurse more than I." Kazimeriz said, eyeing Morgan like he was a strange an unpredictable animal. twitch. Twitch. Odd.

Lyra had been standing quietly over to the side watching the little show go on. She couldn't believe what she was hearing from that mean professor. GAH! "Professor Kazimeriz," thank goodness I didn't call him KraziKazi "Sir, may I ask, why are you so mean?" They were around other students, it couldn't be such a bad question to ask.
Kazimeriz's eyes widened. Surely he had not heard the girl correctly. He raised an eyebrow and glowered at her, his ancient face taking on new wrinkles as it shriveled into a scowl.
"Perhaps I misheard you. Did you say, 'I want a detention, professor?' I am sure you did..." Quote:

She leaned down so only Professor Kazimeriz could hear, "I have some feverfew leaves," she whispered as she placed them in his palm, "even a great Potions master yourself can't deny it's remedies. I will leave you be."
She got up slowly and smiled at the Ravenclaw Plymouth. And backed away. She would stay close in case she was needed.
Kazimeriz took the leaves.
"Thank you, dear. he said softly, smiling at her. That was thoughtful. Not that he would consume anything until he could discern who his enemy in the room was..

"Brownies and blueberry scones with clotted cream anyone?" Now his stomach was doing all of the talking. "Refreshments should appear shortly, Lyra. And Lyra? Can you please ask Professor Kazimeriz how he'll take his tea?"
"Tea, Maximus, thank you. And you are right-- certainly my ears deceive me." Kazimeriz winked at Max.

"You are a tough old man, you know that?" Helios laughed with chattering death. He felt half alive, but that was enough for now.
"Despite your best attempts to end said condition, it appears you do indeed, Sunrider." Kazimeriz said. He smirked a little at Sunrider's comment. Tough, indeed.
"Someone get this boy a cocoa. He's been in the water behind--" HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD IT! "SUNRIDER! You were behind us? In the waters?" he asked urgently.
"Miss Greingoth, did I hear correctly, Sunrider came through the passage... behind us?" Kazimeriz looked to the young Head Girl and to Max, his confusion coalescing around this point.
Sunrider was in the passage. Behind me. Where the stunner came from. Sunrider, who likely bears me a grudge... It all made sense now. The boy had attacked him.
Oh, the young prince would pay for this.
