She went to approach the seen. She noticed it was Professor Kazimeriz. She turned her attention to him. She noticed something odd about him. Something not very many people would catch. "His eyes," she said out loud. "They're not dilated. He might be suffering from head trauma."
Head trauma? Surely not. Had he hit his head? He glowered at the girl, his dark eyes piercing into hers.
"I will thank you not to go diagnosing me all willy-nilly, Miss... Miss Jolie." It had taken a moment, but he had it. Head trauma, indeed.
"I... am... fine." He looked to Maximus, hoping that was true. And what about that student? Who had it been? He felt so out of sorts.

Thus separating himself from Kazimeriz, Vindictus went over to the fireplace and stood before it. Soooo much better. Now for something warm to drink and a snack. "Anyone care for tea or hot cocoa? Perhaps some brownies?"
At least he hadn't said 'fainted'. Ladies fainted and swooned. Certainly not ex-Aurors and gentlemen.
"I have no need to rest, Maximus. Besides, there is a student... in the water... I heard..." He trailed off, suddenly unsure and hate hate HATING the feeling.
"I need no supervision, and certainly not from a bunch of students and a man who is only a breath away from his time in short pants himself. I am... Fine." He insisted, moving to get up off the table. Dizzy? Yes. But fine.
